I’m sure you have had many responses by now but I just wanted to say how awesome the school worked for my family and my son. He was seventeen and doing drugs drinking alcohol after many years of being an A-B student when we had had enough lying and sneaking around. We made the decision and followed through with what we chose to do. We attended the seminars and stuck to the program and now can not begin to tell you how wonderful life has been. Our son is now nineteen and attending his second semester of college in Lubbock Texas. He is again a straight “A” student and drug and alcohol free!!!! Please do what you only have the chance to do now!!! Good luck!
Sincerely,
Jeff

Dear Ms. Patty,
With a great deal of gratitude we are writing this letter to say “Thank You” to all of the personnel at Spring Creek Lodge Academy for the courageous and wonderful work you are accomplishing. Our grandson, Coleman, has been so very fortunate to be able to receive your dedication.
With this letter we also wish to acknowledge the efforts put forth by Cliff on a night when great help was needed by Coleman and his parents. Cliff kept in constant contact with our son, Richard, until the crisis was resolved and Coleman was rescued. He saved our grandson’s life!
Jeremiah has shown great communication with Coleman, and his guidance skills have been so very well received. We are truly grateful for his work with Coleman. He has our friendship for life.
Sincerely, Allyn and Jeannette

Dear Jim I just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate all the time you are putting in to bring my family back together. I know that every day and every child is a challenge, grounding and coaching them on the life change they need to make. I appreciate your honesty and your open communication with me on our weekly calls. The fact that you have a time and a half or double time job of dealing with the kids, but you have to deal with the parents also. That you are as concerned as to how we are doing, and progressing in the program as you are with my child. There are not enough words as to how much I respect and appreciate what you are doing for my family. Your Buddy,
Mary Ellen W

You are our beacon of light in the storm. I appreciate everything you have done, and will continue to do, until we find our way home. Sincerely,
Linda

Hi Nelson,
> Wow! What a surprise to see something from Spring Creek after so long. I
> have filled out the below questioner but I wanted to say more.
> Our home life is so much better now that our daughter has learned to be
> accountable
> for her actions. We had an adjusting period where rules and reactions were
> tested. Now that this period is over I couldn’t be happier with how she
> has become a very nice young lady and someone that is fun to have around.
>
> It is so funny to listen to her while she is watching tv and there is some
> disrespectful youth mouthing off. She starts talking to the tv saying
> “send
> them to Spring Creek.”
>
> We have both come to the conclusion that Yes, it was hard to have her away
> but it has turned out for the best. We both have learned and grown from
> our
> experience with Spring Creek.
>
> Thank you,
> Connie

My daughter Kelly started off at Sky View Academy until it closed Sept 2007. I had to make a quick decision where to put her and I am so glad she is at Spring Creek. She is doing very well. I am going there March 16th and will staff a Focus with her and she gets to stay with me in the hotel. I’m so excited I can’t stand it. She will graduate high school and the program in another month or so. It has been so great for her!

I am so grateful to all the staff and workers at Spring Creek Academy. You have taken on the task of loving my child, through this time of frustration, anger, and resentment. None of this was caused by you, but you are there receiving it. My heart feels like it could burst. There are no words that I can find to tell you how thankful I am to you. I pray that God will give you strength, and an abundance of peace, that His love will flow through you. Thank you for being my arms to hold her, my legs to walk with her. I know that as my child is set free from the things that have her emotionally locked up, you will be blessed by receiving her love. By seeing the joy of life return to her. Oh, how I wish I could see this happen. With Love Overflowing,
Terri

Alisa and I spent many days investigating different schools before choosing SCLA. We saw accusations of abuse. We talked with parents and children who graduated the program. We told them of the accusations and they assured us nothing like what we had read on the internet was happening. One parent and child actually live less than a mile from us. Sending Jeff somewhere is one of the hardest things we’ve done. I wouldn’t send my son anywhere I thought he was going to be physically or mentally abused. I also believe that if something bad was happening, child protective services would be involved and they would not have been in business as long as they have been.

Dear Becky,
Lisa and I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for Nick; all the staff at Spring Creek has our most sincere admiration and gratitude for all you have done, particularly Judi P. whom in the early days of his stay was an invaluable mentor to him. In the later days and months you took over and I know you made a difference in his life and in our lives as well. Both of us know how challenging Nick has been all these months and how tough things were for a while. By reading his letters we get a picture of where he is at even though he tried so hard to mask the truth.
When we had to send him back last year it was a heartbreak for us because we all had worked so hard with him but in the final analysis you were right about him not being ready and able to handle the peer pressure back at home. Your wisdom with these teens in nothing short of inspirational and I wanted you to know that you made a real difference in our lives. These past few months although hard on us gave us the breathing room we needed and the ability to stand in our beliefs despite Nick’s numerous attempts to return home. We know we did the right thing and hopefully his future will reflect it. If nothing else he at some level will understand that we meant what we said when signing a contract and that honor, honesty and truth are not just concepts but principles to live by
Someday Lisa and I would love to visit Spring Creek and give back to all of you the love and support you have given us all these years; do not be surprise if we drop by for a visit as Spring Creek will always have a warm place in our hearts. I also believe that in time Nick will feel the same way. Although this part of our journey has come to a conclusion it is by no means an end, rather it is but a new beginning which was only possible because of the dedication and hard work everyone at Spring Creek provides daily.
I am sure this morning as Nick leaves the facility he will do so with excitement and also a sense of accomplishment and perhaps even some sadness since this is where he called home for sometime. The values all of you upheld to him and the friendship all of you have given him will become an invaluable tool as he discovers the world of adulthood.
Again I want to thank you from the of our hearts,
All of Best, Steven and Lisa F.
