Good Morning Mary,
I am writing to express my appreciation for the great experience we
just had at the first PC2 at Spring Creek. I feel very fortunate to
have been invited, and being there for this first one. I want to
commend Mr. Shane for the outstanding job he did, and the
Family Rep’s for their incredible support. I was also very impressed
with the Upper Level kids that were staffing as well. When we arrived,
we really did not know what to expect. For us, this was our second
time seeing Russell since his escort on December 5, 2006. I feel it was this
seminar that was the turning point in Russell’s program. I really believe the
way this one process unfolded, and with the involvement of the family reps,
especially our rep, Mr. Jim O, this is what made all the difference
in the world for our son. What he had to say was exactly what needed
to be said and heard by all of us; myself, my husband, and Russell.
We gathered back in to our families to discuss what it is that’s
holding us back and what we need to do to be at a +5 level, and
committed to graduating the program. It was during this time, that I
encouraged Russell to finish what’s been started. “It may take a few
more months - but we (your family) will always be there, waiting for
the day you return home. Just think how proud you’ll feel when you
graduate the program, and finish high school. Trust me, it will all
be worth it!” You see, Russell will be 18 the end of March, and has
been planning his exit. When we saw Russell the next morning, he
informed us that he WILL be staying to graduate the program. This
tiny little mustard seed of faith & hope that I had… is a tremendous
answer to prayer, and all a part of God’s plan for our lives.
Thank you Mr. Shane, for an incredible PC2 experience, and Mr.
Jim O for the unconditional love and support you’ve shown us - and
for your part in helping us to rebuild this broken family, into more
than we could ever imagine. It is through your hard work and
dedication that we will be forever grateful.
God bless you!
